Porto Walking Tour, Lello Bookshop, River Cruise and Cable Car

Porto Walking Tour, Lello Bookshop, River Cruise and Cable Car - São Bento Railway Station and Ribeira: the walk that helps you understand Porto

1.Porto Walking Tour, Lello Bookshop, River Cruise and Cable Car

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 3,354 reviews · 4 hours (approx.) · from $72Start here

Porto half-day tour with guided walk, Livraria Lello tickets, cable car views, and a Douro boat cruise, small group.

“This tour takes you to key attractions in Porto. The tour guide was enthusiastic, patient, and knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. The one drawback: there is a lot of downtime on the tour, mostly because of (a) waiting to get into the Lello bookstore, (b) allotting a half an hour for the visit - much more than needed and (c) following that visit with a coffee break. It did pick up pace after that, with the art deco McDonald’s and the San Benito train station. But it would be better, in my opinion, to schedule the coffee break at the halfway mark in the tour”

“It was difficult at first to find the pick up location for our tickets. The nomenclature for the buses is initially a bit confusing - this is the Yellow Bus company which mostly has red buses and operates a blue and red line with a yellow boat line, but the boat line is indicated in red and the red bus line is indicated in pink on the map. There is also a couple of other major tour bus companies, one of which the Grey Bus company has mostly yellow buses and have a blue and red line. Once you figure it out it’s quite easy and a super great way…”

“Francisco was our tour guide for this activity. He was very patient with our group & kept track of all 18 of us. It was a great way to highlight the best of Porto in a short period. Key feature was that this tour takes care of booking the Lello Bookshop, Cabe car and boat tour without having to wait in line. You definitely get your steps in. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.”
