Sometimes it’s the terraced hills ready for planting, the masses of banana trees or seaside villages. Ernesto was our driver and he was excellent with navigating the sometimes narrow, winding roads with hairpin turns in some places. He wasn’t too talkative but you appreciate his focus on the tricky roads. My husband and I were picked up at the cruise pier and two other couples were picked up at different hotels.
