“Great hike, fantastic views, but the price is very high for the offered service, which is - basically - only transportation. It's negligibly less than what we paid for a full day of being driven around, with a very good guide, on another tour. Also, this is NOT an easy hike, make sure you have good walking shoes and that you are not afraid of heights resp. have no issues with narrow passages and closed spaces (narrow tunnels). Next time I'd also take a lamp, torch on the mobile phone is not quite enough in the tunnels, in my opinion. We would definitely do it again, despite the steep price.Read…”

“Our driver /guide was Roberto . He is a super nice guy as well as very informative regarding our self guided hike to PR9 trail Levada do Calderão Verde. He explained everything we needed to know and helped me with the entrance fee payment portal. Our hike was excellent, through waterfalls tunnels and beautiful forests . Roberto was very prompt at picking us up at our hotel at 8:20am and once we finished the hike he was already there waiting for us to drive us back to the hotel . I highly recommend this company Levada in and out and will be using them again 100%”
